Job summary

LaunchTech, LLC is hiring a Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer to support the MDA on the IRES contract. You will design, implement, and maintain cloud-based, Kubernetes-driven platforms with AKS, AWS ECS, and OpenShift, embedding security and compliance throughout.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance, strong CI/CD and IaC experience, and collaboration with government partners to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Twelve+ years of general full-time work experience.
• Six+ years in system integration with DevSecOps or Kubernetes.
• One+ year in a management or leadership role.
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or OpenShift.
• Experience with Coder Platform and CI/CD tooling.
• Strong understanding of automation and containerization tech.
• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+).
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain complex Kubernetes-based systems.
• Migrate and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and HELM.
• Hardening containers to meet DoD and MDA standards.
• Develop scalable architectures on IaaS and PaaS platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems.
• Maintain documentation for all integration processes.
