Job summary

Leidos is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support the GSM-O II contract for DISA. The role is primarily remote with on-site needs at Scott AFB, IL or Fort Meade, MD, and requires a DoD Secret clearance and Security+ certification within 60 days.

You will build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, and Bitbucket; tune Kafka/Elastic stacks in AWS; implement STIGs; and collaborate across DevOps, Security, and Cloud teams in a distributed Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 4–8 years of relevant experience or a Master’s with 2–6 years.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices on distributed teams.
• Strong understanding of DoD security requirements and ability to meet STIGs.
• Experience with Linux environments and cloud services (AWS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, and Bitbucket.
• Assist with deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Kafka and Elastic clusters in AWS.
• Configure applications to meet DoD security standards including STIGs.
• Build centralized dashboards and observability to monitor health, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Cloud, and Application teams to integrate security into pipelines.
• Work with an Agile team and participate in daily scrums in a distributed environment.
• Develop automated tests using Ansible, Selenium, and JMeter.
• Troubleshoot system issues and proactively mitigate risks.
