Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is actively seeking a DevSecOps Integration Engineer to spearhead cloud migration and CI/CD initiatives. This remote, full-time role requires deep AWS expertise, security best practices, and the ability to implement scalable, compliant cloud architectures for VA environments.

The ideal candidate will design and operate automated pipelines, manage multi-account AWS setups, and mentor teammates while ensuring alignment with federal policies and HIPAA/GDPR/PCI DSS

Qualifications

8+ years of AWS cloud engineering experience.
Proficient in AWS core services and security practices.
Experience with IaC and CI/CD tooling.
Healthcare/security compliance knowledge.
Strong scripting in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or NodeJS.

Responsibilities

Lead migration to the cloud and design cloud architecture.
Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines and automation.
Manage permissions and security in AWS accounts.
Implement monitoring and compliance per VA/federal policies.
Support VA Enterprise Cloud environments in AWS GovCloud.
