Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a skilled DevSecOps Integration Engineer for a 100% remote, full-time role within the Veterans Affairs (VA) department. The ideal candidate will bring extensive AWS expertise, cloud security focus, and hands-on experience in CI/CD and IaC to drive scalable cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying AWS infrastructure at scale.
• Proficient in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC.
• Experience with multi-account AWS environments.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/GDPR/PCI DSS in cloud design.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud migration efforts.
• Create cloud and data flow diagrams for cloud infra and apps.
• Design, develop, deploy, and operate CI/CD automation.
