Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is hiring a DevSecOps Integration Engineer for remote work focusing on VA cloud environments. You will design, deploy, and secure scalable AWS infrastructure, automate CI/CD pipelines, and ensure compliance with federal policies.

Minimum 8+ years experience in cloud engineering with strong IaC and security expertise. On-call duties and cross-functional collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Extensive experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevSecOps tooling.
• Experience with IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK).

Responsibilities

• Migrate and optimize cloud infrastructure for VA environments.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Manage IAM, security controls, and encryption in AWS.
• Develop monitoring and logging for cloud systems (CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
• Provide on-call support and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
