Syms Strategic Group, LLC is hiring a DevSecOps Integration Engineer for remote work supporting the Veterans Affairs department. The role focuses on migrating to cloud-based VAEC environments, automating CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring security compliance for AWS services.

Required 8+ years in cloud engineering with AWS, strong IaC, and governance capabilities. This is a U.S.-based remote role with W-2 employment and security clearances as applicable.

• Spearhead migration to the cloud for VA environments.
• Create data flow, cloud, transition, and high-level architecture diagrams.
• Develop and operate CI/CD automation tools and processes.
• Manage permissions in AWS for each cloud resource and service.
• Implement monitoring and logging to ensure compliance and performance.
• Provide cloud support for VAEC AWS GovCloud environments and VIP requirements.
