Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer (Cloud Computing) to join the VA program. This 100% remote role requires deep Azure expertise, DevOps, and security compliance with HIPAA, FedRAMP, NIST, GDPR, and PCI DSS in a federal context.

You will design and operate cloud architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and automation, while mentoring engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure VAEC solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and managing Azure infrastructure.
• Experience with large-scale, high-availability cloud architectures.
• Proficiency in scripting for automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash, NodeJS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD toolchains and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Create cloud architecture diagrams and data flow diagrams for VAEC environments.
• Design, develop, deploy, and operate CI/CD automation.
• Manage cloud permissions and security configurations.
• Implement monitoring and ensure compliance with VA/Federal policies.
• Provide cloud support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments.
• Lead cloud modernization and multi-subscription governance.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to cloud governance.
