Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in development, nonprofit operations, project management, grants administration, or fundraising.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to coordinate across teams and produce polished materials.
• Exceptional project management with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and take ownership of projects.
• Collaborative spirit to work with colleagues across functions in a virtual environment.
• Commitment to nonpartisanship and democracy-focused mission.
• Familiarity with Zoho, Asana, Google Workspace, Slack; experience with these platforms is a plus.
• Experience supporting fundraising, donor stewardship, or nonprofit administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity of fundraising data and systems across Zoho CRM and related tools.
• Create and maintain donor, prospect, and grant records in a timely fashion.
• Monitor fundraising pipelines and surface stalled opportunities or deadlines.
• Maintain the development calendar and ensure adherence to priorities.
• Manage grant proposals and funder reporting processes from start to finish.
• Coordinate internal reviews, incorporate feedback, and ensure timely submissions.
• Maintain proposal and reporting schedules and document organizational knowledge.
• Prepare donor briefing materials and background research before meetings.
• Coordinate logistics for donor events and follow-up activities.
• Maintain accurate contact records and relationship history for engagement.
• Collaborate with Programs and Operations to manage Ignition Grants and payments.
• Work with Communications to develop fundraising collateral and materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and data quality.
• Provide additional operational support to Development and Operations teams as needed.
