Job summary

Prager University is seeking a Development Director to lead fundraising initiatives and donor engagement from a remote-friendly base with regional travel. You will report to the Head of Development and collaborate with senior leaders to drive revenue growth and donor stewardship.

The role demands 7-10+ years in nonprofit fundraising or sales, comfort in a high-volume calling environment, and strong ethical standards aligned with PragerU’s conservative values.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of nonprofit fundraising and/or sales/business development
• Comfort in high-volume calling environment
• Self-motivated, independent with initiative
• Strong alignment with PragerU’s principles and conservative values
• Experience with fundraising CRM software preferred
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication
• Ambitious self-starter, high ethical standards, familiar with PragerU’s content/worldview
• Excellent time management and flexibility with varied duties
• Willingness to travel ~20-25% of the time
• Familiarity with digital ecosystem and social media channels
• Ability to build and cultivate long-term relationships

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with new leads and existing donors through multiple channels with goals for calls, emails, appointments, solicitations, and revenue growth
• Qualify current online donors and prospect for new donor opportunities
• Maintain accurate donor records in CRM for stewardship and funds tracking
• Build and manage donor relationships at PragerU events and represent the organization externally
• Collaborate with in-house development teams to support fundraising strategies
• Stay informed on fundraising trends and best practices in nonprofits
