Job summary

PragerU, a nonprofit media organization, is seeking a Development Director to drive fundraising efforts and donor relationships in a remote-friendly role. You’ll report to the Head of Development and collaborate with the CDO, CEO, and other teams to advance revenue growth and campaign outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 7–10+ years in nonprofit fundraising or sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of nonprofit fundraising and/or sales/business development (highly preferred).
• Comfort in a high-volume calling environment.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong alignment with PragerU’s principles and conservative values.
• Experience with fundraising CRM software preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ambitious self-starter with high ethical standards and familiarity with PragerU’s content.
• Excellent time management with flexible handling of varied duties.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20-25% of the time.
• Familiarity with the digital ecosystem and social media channels.
• Ability to build and cultivate long-term donor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with new leads and existing donors toward goals for calls, emails, appointments, solicitations, and revenue growth.
• Qualify current online donors and prospect for new donor opportunities.
• Maintain accurate donor records in CRM to ensure stewardship and track funds raised.
• Build and manage donor relationships at PragerU events and represent the organization externally.
• Collaborate with in-house development team to support fundraising strategies.
• Stay informed on fundraising trends and best practices in the nonprofit sector.
