Job summary

Global Sanctuary for Elephants, a nonprofit protecting elephants worldwide, seeks a Development Coordinator to manage donor relations and fundraising operations. You will maintain donor databases, prepare reports, and support grants and events from a remote, nationwide team.

Responsibilities include donor services, grant research, and collaboration with leadership to grow fundraising programs. Flexible schedule and remote work options are available across the United States.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of analytical/administrative experience in nonprofits.
• Experience in a nonprofit animal welfare setting is a plus.
• Strong data management and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage donor database, data maintenance, acknowledgments, reporting, and mailings.
• Coordinate with accounting to reconcile deposits in donor database against QuickBooks.
• Prepare donor reports for mailings, donations, audits, and 990s.
• Support online store operations and campaigns; maintain data policies.
• Develop fundraising proposals and grant documentation; assist with events.
