Job summary

Tether is seeking a Developer Productivity Engineer to help QVAC application teams build, review, test, and deliver reliable software with less friction.

You will own developer tools, integrate AI agents into engineering workflows, and improve code quality and automation across desktop and mobile runtimes.

This hands-on role supports a global, remote team, driving faster feedback, reduced toil, and scalable engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining developer tools or engineering automation used by others.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js skills.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools or agents.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, integrate, and maintain developer tools and AI agents for engineering workflows.
• Build and operate agents in CI and scheduled workflows to diagnose issues.
• Improve automated pull request reviews and reduce noise for reviewers.
• Develop code quality checks for complexity, size, and dependencies.
• Improve development environments and release workflows for reliable validation.
• Collaborate with teams, document onboarding, and measure impact.
