Job summary

Tether is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to help QVAC application teams develop, review, test, and deliver reliable software for desktop and mobile apps and their shared runtime, AI harness, and skills packages.

You will build and maintain developer tools, integrate AI agents into engineering workflows, and improve code quality and delivery automation. This is a hands‑on role with room to shape the tooling roadmap and drive adoption with engineers across a remote, globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining developer tools or engineering automation used by others.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js skills.
• Hands-on experience using and integrating AI coding tools or agents.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and debugging.
• A strong approach to code quality: maintainable code and automated checks.
• Ability to work independently and communicate in English within a remote, globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, integrate, and maintain developer tools and AI agents, including repository guidance and integrations.
• Build and operate agents in CI and scheduled workflows to investigate failures and propose fixes.
• Improve automated pull request reviews, reducing noise for reviewers.
• Develop code quality scripts and checks for complexity, size, dependencies, and performance regressions.
• Improve development environments, testing, and build/release workflows for reliable changes.
• Prioritize improvements with engineering teams and support adoption through documentation and onboarding.
