Tether is seeking a Product Engineering Lead to drive features in QV.AC, our local AI assistant platform. You will manage teams delivering on-device AI with strong product sense and close collaboration with PMs, shaping what gets built, not just what is implemented.

You will balance engineering leadership (70%) with product involvement (30%), ensuring reliable architectures, scalable APIs, and practical AI solutions across devices. Remote, international team.

Qualifications

• Experience managing engineers or engineering leads who ship consumer products, ideally AI-powered apps.
• Strong product sense: distinguish valuable features from noise.
• Intuition for applied AI and on-device constraints (latency, memory, power).
• Comfort using AI tools in your own work and prototyping ideas quickly.
• Initiative, curiosity, resilience, and openness to direct feedback.

Responsibilities

• Engineering: lead product teams, unblock work, and maintain high shipping velocity.
• Product Partnership: translate roadmap into scoped, buildable work with PM input.
• Leadership: set goals, mentor leads, and model hands-on involvement when needed.
• Collaborate with AI research and deep tech teams on reviews and model-related work.
