Job summary

Unique Escapes is seeking an Event Destination Specialist to convert inquiries into unforgettable group travel experiences. This remote role emphasizes relationship-building, sales, and travel research to design tailored destination events.

You will guide clients from first inquiry through booking, present destination options, prepare compelling proposals, and maintain exceptional follow-up throughout the sales process.

Qualifications

• Strong sales, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a warm and professional tone.
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple leads, clients, and deadlines independently.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and travel booking platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate, qualify, and follow up with leads for destination weddings, group trips, milestone celebrations, corporate retreats, incentive travel, and special events.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand client destination preferences, goals, budget, dates, group size, and expectations.
• Research destinations, resorts, venues, cruises, excursions, and travel packages that match client needs.
• Prepare professional quotes, proposals, itineraries, room-block summaries, and reservation details.
• Present options clearly, highlighting value, inclusions, and unique experiences.
• Guide clients through decision-making and booking with confidence and professionalism.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Track leads, sales activity, proposals, payments, deposits, deadlines, and requests in CRM.
• Coordinate travel logistics such as group accommodations, transfers, and excursions.
• Follow up consistently to move opportunities forward, answer questions, and close bookings.
• Maintain accurate client records and booking details; support email campaigns and onboarding.
