The role evolves toward Founding Design Engineer ownership, collaborating across frontend, design, and AI tooling to craft premium client experiences.

Qualifications

• Exceptional design taste demonstrated through a portfolio and strong opinions on typography and layout.
• Deep fluency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with modern web fundamentals.
• Daily use of AI tools for design and development with clear workflow examples.
• Portfolio of shipped design work and a demonstrated growth trajectory.

Responsibilities

• Design the themes that define what premium means on our platform and ensure they plug into onboarding, editor, and publishing.
• Own typography, spacing, hierarchy, restraint, and the detailed polish of client sites.
• Improve experiences across admin, AI editor, onboarding flows, and public-facing sites.
• Collaborate with the platform team to ship design changes end-to-end using AI tooling.
