Topsail, a forward‑looking consultancy, seeks a deployment strategist for a fully remote US role. You own outcomes, run discovery with executives, and guide engagements from scope to adoption, paired with a forward‑deployed engineer who builds while you drive value.

You shape roadmaps, measure ROI, train client teams, and expand the account, with periodic travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Have run engagements or operated a business before.
• AI familiarity and ability to explain retrieval and agents to a CFO.
• Able to read a data model and challenge it when it misrepresents business reality.
• Strong, clear written communication and honest updates.
• Ownership mindset—own outcomes, not just deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery: interview executives and frontline staff, map how the business runs, and turn a vague mandate into a ranked roadmap with ROI.
• Shape the data foundation with the engineer; identify relevant entities and real processes.
• Run the engagement end to end: scope, milestones, sponsor updates, and adapt when priorities shift.
• Drive adoption: train client teams on new solutions and establish lasting habits.
• Grow the account: spot next high-leverage problems and bring founders in to close.
