Job summary

somewhere is seeking a highly organized Project Operations Associate to support pre- and post-installation stages of battery deployments. The role focuses on hands-on execution within a fast-moving deployment pipeline, with opportunities to spot friction and propose improvements.

You will own end-to-end workflow, coordinate with members, utilities, AHJs, and REP enrollments, and ensure timely delivery from contract through completion.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in project coordination, operations, or similar roles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with multi-project capability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with external stakeholders.
• Experience scheduling with inspectors, utility reps, AHJs, and other authorities.
• Proficiency in managing documentation and online portals.
• Proactive problem solving to address potential roadblocks.

Responsibilities

• Own execution across the full deployment workflow from pre- to post-installation.
• Track project statuses and flag delays or issues.
• Review photos/docs to assess installation feasibility and code compliance.
• Generate permit packages and interconnection submissions.
• Submit applications through AHJ and utility portals.
• Engage members, utilities, and AHJs to move projects forward.
• Manage REP enrollments through the full process.
• Close permits and keep project records up to date.
• Identify inefficiencies in workflows and propose solutions.
