Job summary

Transformco is seeking a seasoned Planning professional to collaborate with buying teams and lead the monthly S&OP forecasting process. You will analyze promotions, new product introductions, pricing changes, and events to meet member demand, while mentoring junior planners and driving financial receipts.

The role requires strong data analysis skills, extensive Excel proficiency, and experience managing large data sets to optimize Sales, Margin, Inventory and GMROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–10 years of related experience.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with buying teams to forecast demand for promotions, new products, pricing changes.
• Lead monthly S&OP with stakeholders to develop forecasts and financial receipts.
• Minimize forecast errors by identifying factors and adjusting plans.
• Set forecast models and variance tolerances per SKU.
• Become brand volume expert through market trends and dynamics.
• Partner with supply chain to minimize costs.
• Interpret how promotions and seasonality affect volume.
• Manage Sales, Margin, Inventory, Receipts, GMROI and Turns.
• Report forecast implications of product phasing.
• Mentor and train other Planners.
