Job summary

Mercer is seeking a Pension Administration Manager to lead defined benefit retirement programs, oversee service delivery, and guide process improvements. In this leadership role, you will supervise your team to ensure timely and accurate client deliverables while leveraging AI and technology-enabled tools.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of defined benefit experience, a BA/BS preferred, and strong client and people management skills.

Qualifications

5-7 years defined benefit related work experience.
BA/BS degree preferred.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Client management experience.
People management experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee team members responsible for the administration of Defined Benefits plans and provide performance feedback to your team and guidance on development plans.
Monitor service level requirements and implement plans for improvement where needed.
Lead client service reviews to discuss performance and upcoming projects.
Thrive in an environment embracing AI and technology-enabled tools.
Conduct regular reviews of client financial performance, including profitability.
Identify and implement out-of-scope revenue opportunities.
Align or optimize team resources to support client deliverables.
Serve as point of contact for escalations.
