Job summary

Mercer is hiring a Senior Health & Benefits Consultant to lead complex client engagements across medical, dental, life, and disability plans. You will guide teams in researching benefit designs, build trusted client relationships, and provide high-level financial and contractual analysis for renewals and RFPs.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with key stakeholders, and drive strategic recommendations to innovate benefits design using data-driven models.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience designing and implementing health care benefit solutions.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze complex plans and renewals.
• Proven reputation in the health and benefits field.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex client engagements across medical, dental, life, and disability plans.
• Guide teams in researching and evaluating benefit programs for design and renewal strategies.
• Build client relationships and deliver strategic recommendations.
• Provide high level financial, contractual, and admin analysis on RFPs.
• Delegate and mentor junior staff to resolve challenges.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify growth opportunities.
• Contribute to sophisticated benefits design and renewal solutions using data models.
