Job summary

GM Defense seeks a strategic, results-driven leader to drive the growth of energy solutions for government customers. You will build and manage the pipeline, shape capture efforts, and work closely with GM Defense and GM enterprise teams to win competitive opportunities.

The role requires travel (25-50%), U.S. citizenship, and eligibility for a Secret security clearance. It offers remote work with periodic site reporting and relocation benefits where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of business development experience in government-facing roles.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with DoD or US Government customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead pipeline development and qualification for energy solutions for DoD and government customers.
• Develop and sustain relationships with War Department and other US Government leaders andPrime contractors.
• Coordinate meetings to develop requirements, acquisition strategies, and budgets.
• Collaborate with proposal, pricing, contracts, and legal teams to deliver compliant offers.
• Support achievement of annual and long-term objectives for Defense & Federal Government Energy Solutions.
