Job summary

Westlake Financial is seeking a Dealer Account Manager to train and grow dealer partnerships across a field-based role. This remote-on-the-road position involves educating dealers, prospecting new accounts, and managing ongoing sales activities to drive funding and growth for Westlake Financial.

You will travel locally to Independent and Franchise dealerships, present programs, and support marketing efforts. A college degree and a proven sales track record are preferred.

Qualifications

• Automotive, Finance and Sales experience required.
• 1–2 years in a Sales role with a proven track record.
• College degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
• Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
• Willingness to travel locally and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Experience with DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare presentations and proposals to communicate products and services to management within dealerships.
• Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts assigned.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity.
• Develop and grow current and potential dealer partners.
• Maintain ongoing communication with dealer partners to train on programs and funding requirements.
• Provide solutions and restructure vehicle loans for approval.
• Assist with the preparation of sales contracts and verify requirements.
• Maintain and update sales materials and product knowledge.
• Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows.
