Job summary
Jobot is seeking a Controls Engineer with strong DCS experience to support regional automation projects. You’ll design, configure, and troubleshoot DCS solutions for manufacturing customers while working directly with plant personnel and customer teams.
The role offers remote work with residency requirements in VA, NC, or SC and 10–25% travel to site locations for commissioning and upgrades. You’ll engage in modernization projects and startup activities, driving reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or control systems engineering.
- 5+ years of DCS programming experience.
- Experience with Foxboro, DeltaV or Honeywell platforms.
- Willingness to travel 10–25%.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement DCS programming solutions for process control.
- Configure and support Foxboro, DeltaV, and Honeywell platforms.
- Participate in control system upgrades and migrations.
- Travel to client sites for commissioning and support.
- Collaborate with customers, operations, and maintenance teams.
- Provide technical support and training as needed.
