Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a Remote Datacenter Technician to operate and optimize data center processes per ITIL standards. You will serve as the primary technical contact for DC Services and CRES, leading incidents and day-to-day tasks while coordinating with IT Infrastructure teams.

You will analyze trends, track metrics, and help design scalable, resilient data center strategies, including documentation, policy execution, and staff training.

Qualifications

• Experience operating data center processes using ITIL standards.
• Primary technical contact for Data Center Services and CRES in emergencies and day-to-day tasks.
• Ability to analyze risks and trends affecting data center operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and implement data center processes per ITIL standards.
• Act as technical lead and escalation point for DC services.
• Coordinate with IT Infrastructure teams for requests, changes, and incidents.
• Develop and implement scalable, resilient data center strategies.
• Mentor staff in data center and IT processes.
