Job summary

Capgemini Engineering, a global leader in engineering services, seeks a Resident Solutions Architect to drive enterprise data and analytics on Databricks and cloud-native tech. You will partner with client stakeholders and delivery teams to design, optimize, and scale data platforms that deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will mentor teams on distributed computing, Spark, and modern data platform design, while shaping architecture standards, roadmaps, and best practices across cloud

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics.
• Databricks Data Engineering Professional certification completed.
• Proven experience delivering 6-8+ successful projects with significant hands-on Databricks development.
• Strong experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience designing and deploying solutions across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, production deployment, and cloud-native development methodologies.
• Knowledge of MLOps frameworks and model deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of scalable data engineering and analytics solutions on Databricks.
• Define architecture standards, best practices, and technical roadmaps with clients and delivery teams.
• Provide hands-on guidance for data platform development and production deployments.
• Drive performance tuning, scalability improvements, and cost optimization across cloud and Databricks environments.
• Collaborate to establish CI/CD, DevOps, and MLOps best practices.
• Mentor technical teams on distributed computing and Spark architecture.
• Evaluate emerging Databricks capabilities and recommend adoption strategies.
