Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect for remote work who will own the end-to-end technical strategy for customers, lead architecture discussions, and drive platform adoption across accounts. You will design scalable data, ML/AI, and real-time analytics solutions and advise customer technical leads on cloud deployments.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in architecture roles, deep distributed data systems expertise, and strong Python/SQL coding skills, along with excellent business-value

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, or senior technical roles.
• Strong coding in Python and SQL with live coding and debugging skills.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems, pipelines, and lakehouse patterns.
• Proficient with the Databricks Platform and a developing specialization area.
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Experience with production deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Track record of driving platform adoption and growth.
• Excellent communication translating architecture to business value.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery to production deployment.
• Lead complex architecture discussions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and analytics.
• Serve as trusted technical advisor to customer architects and directors.
• Drive technical wins by demonstrating Databricks differentiation with solutions.
