Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking a Databricks Solution Architect to lead end-to-end architecture for a large data modernization program. You will drive cloud-based engineering, data modelling, lakehouse design, and AI integration across AWS, GCP, and Azure, delivering governed data products and scalable analytics.

In this role, you will shape the ML/GenAI lifecycle, implement MLOps, and establish cross-cloud data movement patterns while partnering with executives and business stakeholders to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Proven enterprise-scale data/AI/GenAI solution architecture experience.
• Travel up to 4 days/week (mandatory).
• Databricks/GenAI lifecycle, RAG, MLOps, and governance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Define target data and AI architecture across multi-cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Lead data migration architecture, sequencing, cutover, and risk management.
• Own data modeling standards and lakehouse/data-product design.
• Define data engineering patterns for ingestion, transformation, and cost control.
• Architect reporting/analytics layer with semantic models and governed metrics.
• Design ML/GenAI lifecycle, from feature engineering to monitoring and evaluation.
• Ensure secure cross-cloud data movement and governance guardrails.
• Provide architectural oversight on large migration initiatives.
• Drive AI governance, prompts, guardrails, and privacy practices.
