Job summary

You will engage with leaders across the customer lifecycle, shaping technical strategy, leading workshops, and guiding successful cloud deployments while building champions and accelerating adoption of the platform.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of presales/customer-facing technical experience.
• Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and executives by building relationships and orchestrating teams.
• Experience coding in Python, Java or Scala and willingness to learn Spark.
• Hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms.
• Know how to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executives in your designated territory.
• Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions.
• Influence stakeholders at all levels through engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications.
• Be a champion for customers and colleagues, acting as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for data analytics architecture and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Contribute to the technical community with collateral and lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
• Opportunity to continue development in tracks like technical specialization, industry thought leadership, strategic customer vision, and people management.
