Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Solutions Architect for Data Analytics to define and guide the enterprise data strategy on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. You will design scalable, secure data solutions enabling analytics, AI, and reporting, acting as a technical leader across a hybrid enterprise.

Remote role based anywhere in the United States. You will mentor engineers, drive architecture reviews, and ensure alignment with security and compliance standards while staying ahead of evolving data

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in enterprise IT operations, systems engineering, or infrastructure architecture.
• Deep expertise in Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation, puppet, chef for provisioning and configuration management.
• Proven background in crafting and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Strong experience designing cloud‑based data solutions, preferably within Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage/ADLS, Azure networking, identity and access management, Key Vault, and related services.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing an enterprise data platform using Databricks or a comparable modern cloud data platform.
