Job summary

BNS is seeking a Project Performance & Insights Analyst to transform project and operational data into clear, actionable information for project teams, customers, and executive leadership.

The Analyst will combine data from Jira, project plans, Excel spreadsheets, milestone schedules, and other management systems to create meaningful dashboards, visualizations, health indicators, and executive reports that help answer where a project stands, where it should be, and where attention is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, business analytics, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience developing dashboards, reports, visualizations, or BI solutions.
• Able to transform raw or imperfect data into meaningful information and insights.
• Experience working with project, operational, or business data.
• Strong understanding of milestones, critical path, burndown, planned vs actual, KPIs.
• Ability to work with data from multiple sources and identify relationships.
• Strong communication with PMs, technical teams, and executives.
• Great attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards and visualizations that communicate project and program health.
• Create RAG status indicators, heat maps, burndown views, and milestone tracking.
• Track actual performance against planned performance.
• Identify trends, variances, risks, bottlenecks, and areas needing attention.
• Develop views to let users understand status without reading raw data.
• Support project and portfolio-level reporting.
• Translate operational and project data into meaningful business insights.
• Collaborate with PMs to define data elements and feeds for measurement.
