Sotalent, a mission-driven telehealth startup, seeks a talented Data Scientist to help transform access to evidence-based medical treatments. This full-time remote role within the United States reports to the Senior Director of Data and offers a ground-floor opportunity to shape ML and experimentation culture.

You will develop predictive models for clinical capacity forecasting and patient retention, collaborate with analytics engineers to productionize pipelines using BigQuery and dbt, and

Competenze

• 3–5 years of applied data science with a focus on statistics and ML.
• Proficiency in Python ML stack: pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost.
• Familiarity with optimization / scheduling and resource allocation.
• Ability to translate technical findings into business narratives for stakeholders.
• Healthcare or fintech regulatory experience is highly preferred; HIPAA knowledge is a plus.

Mansioni

• Build and deploy models for clinical capacity forecasting and risk prediction.
• Design and analyze experiments to determine true causal impact.
• Collaborate with engineering to productionize models using BigQuery and dbt.
• Translate operational questions into rigorous mathematical analyses.
