You will tackle complex problems including demand and capacity forecasting, patient retention risk, and NLP for clinical documentation. The team utilizes an agile methodology and values data driven decision making across all departments.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Build and deploy models for clinical capacity forecasting and risk prediction.
  • Design and analyze experiments to determine true causal impact.
  • Work with engineering to move models into production pipelines using tools like BigQuery and dbt.
  • Translate vague operational questions into rigorous mathematical analyses.
  • Partner with commercial and clinical leaders to identify growth opportunities.
  • Act as the internal subject matter expert for machine learning and statistics.
Required Skills and Experience

  • Advanced proficiency in Python specifically the ML stack including pandas scikit learn and XGBoost.
  • Familiarity with operations research or optimization such as scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Enthusiasm for using AI augmented workflows to accelerate research and coding.
  • The ability to translate technical findings into actionable narratives for non technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment such as healthcare or fintech is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations like HIPAA and an understanding of health outcomes is a plus.

The company values transparency and uses a first and best offer approach to ensure pay equity across the organization.
