Job summary

enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to maintain and advance our data protection infrastructure and DSPM/DLP stack. You will work with Microsoft Purview, ForcePoint, BigID, Varonis, and cloud/on‑prem environments to secure sensitive information and support incident response.

You will design policies, deploy DLP solutions, and develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) while collaborating with senior engineers to meet regulatory and security requirements across HITRUST, NIST, HIPAA,

Qualifications

Experience implementing and maintaining DLP/DSPM solutions.
Experience with on-prem and cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure) data protection.
Ability to design and tune data protection policies and detections.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain data protection infrastructure across platforms and vendors.
Collaborate on design and deployment of data protection solutions per best practices.
Configure policies for sensitive information types and detector tuning.
Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root cause analysis.
Contribute to projects with testing, implementation, and documentation.
Develop automation scripts to improve deployment and maintenance.
