enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to implement and maintain the organization’s data protection infrastructure and applications. You will work with senior engineers across Windows/Linux environments, GKE, and various DLP/DSPM tools to safeguard sensitive information and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role involves collaborating on cross-platform deployments (on-prem and in the cloud), developing automation scripts, and contributing to security policy improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data loss prevention (DLP).
• 5+ years in information security and systems analysis.
• 5+ years deploying and maintaining DLP infrastructure.
• 5+ years creating and managing DLP policies.

Responsabilités

• Implement and maintain data protection infrastructure across platforms and vendors.
• Collaborate on design and deployment of DLP/DSPM solutions for on-prem and cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Configure data protection policies, sensitive info types, and detection tuning.
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root-cause analyses.
• Contribute to projects with testing, implementation, and documentation.
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) following coding standards.
• Work with team to expand knowledge of data protection technologies.
• Stay current with data protection tech, best practices, and compliance.
