Job summary

enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to implement and support data protection infra, including DLP/DSPM, across on‑prem and cloud environments. You’ll work with Windows, Linux, GKE, and automation tools to improve security posture and compliance.

The role emphasizes policy configuration, incident response, and collaboration with senior engineers to advance engineering standards and procedures.

Qualifications

5 years of experience with Data Loss Prevention
5 years of experience with Information Security and Systems Analysis
5 years of experience with deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software
5 years of experience with creating and managing DLP policies

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain components of the data protection infrastructure across platforms, configuring DLP/DSPM and de-identification solutions.
Collaborate on design and implementation of data protection solutions across on‑prem and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
Configure and maintain data protection policies, including sensitive information types and detection parameters.
Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root cause analysis for remediation.
Contribute to projects with testing, implementation, and documentation and participate in meetings.
Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) following coding standards.
Collaborate to expand team knowledge and stay current with data protection tech and compliance.
