Job summary

enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to join the team. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining data protection infrastructure, configuring DLP/DSPM, and supporting on-prem and cloud environments while adhering to security standards and policies.

You will develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python), collaborate with engineers, and stay current with evolving compliance requirements. Strong experience with DLP technologies and security frameworks is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• 5+ years of experience with Information Security and systems analysis.
• 5+ years of deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software.
• 5+ years of creating and managing DLP policies.
• CISSP or cloud security certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain components of the data protection infrastructure across platforms and vendors, including DLP, DSPM, and data de-identification solutions.
• Design and implement data protection solutions in on-prem and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Configure and maintain data protection policies, including sensitive information types and detection tuning.
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents with root cause analysis and escalation as needed.
• Contribute to projects with testing, implementation, and documentation.
