Job summary

enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to join a team responsible for the organization's data protection infrastructure. You will implement, maintain, and support DLP and DSPM solutions, working across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).

You will develop automation (PowerShell, Python), tune policies, and collaborate on security architecture with senior engineers to ensure compliance with HITRUST, NIST, PCI, HIPAA, and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• 5+ years in Information Security and systems analysis.
• 5+ years deploying and maintaining DLP infrastructure.
• 5+ years creating and managing DLP policies.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain DLP/DSPM components across platforms and vendors.
• Collaborate on data protection design for on-prem and cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Configure data protection policies and tune detection parameters.
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Support projects with testing, implementation and documentation.
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) for deployment and maintenance.
