enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to join the Data Protection team. You will implement and maintain DLP/DSPM infrastructure, work across on-prem and cloud environments, and develop automation scripts to improve deployment efficiency.

The role requires extensive experience with DLP tools, data protection policies, and interoperability with HIPAA, NIST, and ISO controls. Remote position with potential for onsite collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Data Loss Prevention.
• 5+ years of experience in Information Security and Systems Analysis.
• 5+ years of experience deploying/maintaining DLP infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience creating and managing DLP policies.
• 3+ years with at least two modern programming languages.

Responsabilités

• Implement and maintain data protection infrastructure across platforms and vendors, including DLP/DSPM and data de-identification.
• Design and implement data protection solutions across on-prem and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Configure data protection policies, sensitivity types, tuning, and exception management.
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents, perform root cause analysis, escalate as needed.
• Assist with testing, implementation, and documentation; participate in project meetings.
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to improve deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate to expand knowledge and stay current with data protection tech and compliance.
