Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Data, Communications, and Policy Analyst to support program management, tasking execution, strategic planning, policy review, metrics generation and reporting for DHS/ICE. This is a fully remote opportunity available to CONUS candidates, with optional in-person work in DC.

The role emphasizes data analysis, communications support, and policy interpretation. A Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in a US government environment is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of work experience (or commensurate experience).
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience working in a dynamic, quick-turn US government environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide data analysis and communications support on activities including drafting responses to congressional correspondence and information requests.
• Pull data from systems like ServiceNow, SharePoint, and Power Apps.
• Use Power BI to build data sets, dashboards, and responses to taskings.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with federal law enforcement managers and subject matter experts.
• Translate complex mission-related policies into clear, succinct language.
• Track and report progress of high-priority tasks and reports.
• Assist clients and team members with ad hoc research, process improvement, and fast-moving projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely responses to requests and assignments.
