Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Data, Communications, and Policy Analyst to support program management, policy review, metrics generation and reporting for ICE under DHS. The role emphasizes data analytics production and executive task responses, with full remote work available within CONUS and optional in‑person in DC.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience, strong Power BI skills, and experience in a fast-paced government setting. Clearance ability is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI
• Experience in a dynamic US government environment
• Ability to translate mission needs into tactical execution of visual artifacts, reports and taskings

Responsibilities

• Provide data analysis and communications support, including responding to congressional correspondence and information requests
• Pull data from systems (e.g., ServiceNow, SharePoint, Power Apps)
• Build data sets and dashboards using Power BI for tasking and reporting
• Maintain relationships with federal managers and SMEs
• Convey complex policies and programs in clear language
• Track progress of tasks and reports
• Support ad hoc research and process improvements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect information for timely responses
• Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions
• Support cross-discipline teams to meet deadlines
• Develop and disseminate information among customers and external stakeholders
