You will partner with Product, Design, and senior leadership to set a quarterly roadmap, drive iterative delivery, and enforce high-quality code and dependable distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years software engineering experience, ideally in data platform or infrastructure.
• 2+ years in engineering management.
• Experience building, delivering, and operating distributed systems at scale.
• Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure, such as Bitcoin or Ethereum.
• Strong engineering judgment and the ability to foster quality and maintainability.
• Execution-focused approach: balance delivery with long-term planning.
• Hands-on leadership and willingness to engage in technical work and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow engineers; support their development and career progression.
• Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, and senior leaders to set a quarterly roadmap and deliver it iteratively.
• Guide technical decisions and promote high-quality code and reliable distributed systems.
• Stay close to the work through design and code reviews, incident leadership, on‑call participation, and troubleshooting.
• Own processes that improve engineering quality and help the team meet service-level commitments.
• Partner with recruiting to attract and hire strong engineers.
