Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Data Operations Analyst for a fully remote contract role. The position supports a centralized creative organization delivering data-driven insights for products used worldwide.

You will oversee data pipelines, metadata, and reporting infrastructure, working closely with product, engineering, and creative teams. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of solving complex data challenges.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining data pipelines in production environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex data issues.
• Experience with structured datasets, metadata, reporting systems, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain scheduled data pipelines and resolve failures.
• Build, modify, and extend data pipelines and tables for reporting needs.
• Manage end-to-end data access requests with legal/privacy teams.
• Serve as steward of organizational data across teams.
• Review and approve data access requests based on needs and compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders early to establish data access.
• Own metadata governance for large content libraries, including testing.
• Maintain dashboard accuracy as upstream systems evolve.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and reporting issues.
• Create and maintain trouble-shooting and operational documentation.
