Job summary

Applied Systems, Inc. is seeking a Data Migration Engineer to join our Data Services team. You will migrate customer data from legacy systems into Applied Systems SaaS products, ensuring data quality and continuity for customers.

You’ll collaborate across Onboarding, Success Services, Development, Operations, and Support to deliver end-to-end migration solutions, leveraging SQL, ETL, and data quality practices in a global, follow-the-sun delivery model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of database structures, SQL, ETL concepts, and data quality best practices.
• Ability to collaborate in a global, cross-functional team and manage multiple timelines.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data conversion and migration from legacy systems to Applied Systems SaaS products.
• Perform extractions, transformations, data cleanup, and quality audits to ensure accuracy.
• Develop repeatable data scripts/workflows and validate data throughout migration.
• Work with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure continuity.
