Job summary

Applied Systems, Inc. is seeking a Data Migration Engineer to join our Data Services team. You will migrate customer data from legacy systems into Applied Systems SaaS products, ensuring data quality and continuity.

You will collaborate with onboarding, development, and support teams across regions, build repeatable data scripts, and leverage SQL and BigQuery to move data efficiently in a global follow-the-sun delivery model.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in database structures and SQL with real-world migration experience.
• Solid ETL, data mapping, and data quality practices.
• Experience working in a global, collaborative team.
• Ability to manage multiple project timelines and stay detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication with engineering and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data conversion and migration from legacy systems to SaaS products.
• Perform extractions, acquisitions, transformations, and data cleanup.
• Develop repeatable data scripts and validate data integrity.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Support testing, defects, enhancements, and documentation.
