Job summary

Applied Systems, Inc. is seeking a Data Migration Engineer to join our Data Services team. You will migrate customer data from legacy systems into Applied Systems SaaS products, ensuring data quality and business continuity.

You will work with cross-functional teams across Onboarding, Success Services, Development, Operations, Solution Services, and Support to deliver end-to-end migration solutions. The role follows a Follow the Sun delivery model across regions and time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong SQL and database structures knowledge.
• Experience with ETL, data mapping, and data quality practices.
• Ability to work in a global team across regions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data conversion and migration from legacy systems to Applied SaaS products using SQL tooling.
• Perform extractions, merges, transformations, and cleanup to support diverse customer scenarios.
• Develop repeatable data scripts and workflows with audits to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand requirements and deliver migrations.
• Contribute to a global delivery model with independent work and cross-region handoffs.
• Support testing, defect resolution, and documentation with Development teams.
• Leverage cloud platforms like BigQuery for migration workflows and integrations.
