The role requires RHIT (preferred), 2+ years in hospital record integrity, and strong collaboration across departments. Remote schedule supports operations across facilities with a focus on quality and compliance.

Qualificações

• RHIT credential (or eligible) preferred.
• 2+ years of acute hospital patient record integrity positions required.
• Experience with HIM operations and chart correction processes in a large facility.

Responsabilidades

• Corrects and resolves incorrect documentation issues within BMC clinical systems to maintain complete legal health records.
• Decides actions to address critical registration/documentation errors impacting patient safety and notifies relevant departments.
• Leads chart correction coordination across inpatient and outpatient information systems.
• Coordinates multi-site corrections to ensure a single patient, one record experience.
• Supports continuous improvement of HIM processes and tools.
