Job summary

Timely is seeking a Data Integrations Specialist to connect Student Information Systems (SIS) to Timely's scheduling platform. You will own the data pipelines, ensure data accuracy, security, and scalability, and work closely with engineering, product, and school success teams to enable scalable scheduling for districts.

The role requires hands-on data integration experience in K-12 education, strong SQL/REST API skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote startup environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with data integration in K-12 or education tech environments.
  • Ability to design, plan, and execute data integration workflows.
  • Strong collaboration with engineering, product, and customer teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own data ingestion, transformation, and exchange between SIS and Timely.
  • Ensure accuracy, security, and scalability of data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with SIS, district IT, and success teams to design integration flows.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and best practices for data integrations.
  • Build lightweight scripts/tools (e.g., Python) to automate integration tasks.
  • Lead discovery for integrating with new SISs and build partner relationships.
  • Contribute to scaling the data integration function across products and teams.
  • Onboard new team members and improve processes.
