SHI is seeking a Solutions Architect, Data Governance to act as the lead technical and strategic advisor on enterprise data governance initiatives for client engagements. You will collaborate with executives, data leaders, business teams, security, and delivery teams to design governance programs that establish trust, visibility, accountability, and control across enterprise data estates.

The role focuses on governance strategy, metadata management, taxonomy design, data lineage, stewardship

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
Seven+ years of experience delivering enterprise data governance solutions.
Hands-on with Microsoft Purview including metadata management and data lineage.
Experience establishing data stewardship programs and adoption strategies.
Experience leading customer-facing engagements and governance assessments.
Familiarity with Azure data services and governance tooling.

Responsibilities

Lead data governance strategy and architecture for enterprise client engagements.
Architect and oversee Purview data governance capabilities across platforms.
Guide customers in governance readiness for analytics and AI platforms.
Deliver workshops, reviews, and roadmap discussions with executives.
Design governance monitoring and operational reporting using Azure tools.
