Job summary

SHI is seeking a Solutions Architect, Data Governance to lead governance initiatives across enterprise data estates. You will partner with executive stakeholders, data leaders, and delivery teams to design and implement governance programs ensuring trust and control across data assets.

You will guide Purview implementations, establish metadata management, data quality, and stewardship models while advising on AI readiness and modernization efforts. This is a client‑facing, remote‑friendly role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Seven or more years of experience delivering enterprise data, information management, or data governance solutions, with substantial recent focus on governance.
• Hands‑on implementation experience with Microsoft Purview, including Unified Catalog, Data Map, Data Estate Insights, business glossary, metadata management, and data lineage.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data governance strategy and architecture initiatives.
• Architect and oversee Purview governance implementations across platforms like Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services.
• Lead customer‑facing governance workshops, assessments, and roadmap sessions.
• Design governance monitoring and reporting using Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics.
• Advise on governance for AI initiatives such as Microsoft 365 Copilot and enterprise AI adoption.
• Ensure governance readiness and establish stewardship accountability across client engagements.
